Hearings will continue today looking at how cyber charter schools are funded.
The House Education Committee heard testimony last week from the Pennsylvania Association of School Business Officials who say cyber charter schools are a “significant and unsustainable burden” to their finances.
Currently, public school districts pay cyber charter schools for students in their district who attend the charter school instead of a public school.
The final hearing will happen today as part of the cyber charter statewide tour.
