The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission is beginning their review of how utility companies responded to the severe weather a couple of weeks ago.
The PUC said they are starting a comprehensive review of the response to the storm and assess the impact on infrastructure and operations.
They will specifically look at what caused the outages and recommend steps for how utilities and communities can better prepare for extreme weather.
The storm led to more than 500,000 customers losing power in the state.
