An East Brady man has been charged after he allegedly led police on a chase while driving under the influence.
It happened on April 27 just after 2 a.m. when state police found a vehicle leaving the Oil Boom Saloon Bar violating multiple driving laws.
When officers attempted to pull the man over, the driver took off leading to a pursuit where officers say the driver reached speeds of approximately 90 mph.
The vehicle then went off the roadway hitting an embankment, striking a utility pole, and then rolling over. EMS was called to the scene where the driver was identified as 19-year-old Brady Seybert.
A field sobriety test could not be completed due to Seybert’s injuries but a blood test was completed at the hospital and found him to have a BAC of .178 percent.
Seybert has been charged with three counts of aggravated assault with a vehicle, three counts of recklessly endangering another person, and several driving violations. He’s awaiting a preliminary hearing.
