A new bill that would fully repeal the ban on Sunday hunting is one step closer to becoming law.
According to the PA Game Commission, House Bill 1431 has passed the State Senate by a vote of 34 to 16.
It would allow the Game Commission to include Sundays when hunting seasons are established annually and is backed by many sportsman’s groups as well as the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau.
This bill passed the House earlier this month but will now return for a concurrence vote before moving on to the desk of Governor Josh Shapiro.
