The Butler County Chapter of Twilight Wish is helping to realize the dream of a local senior this weekend.
Carl Selfridge is a 90-year-old Navy Veteran and longtime fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates who hasn’t been able to attend a game in many years as a result of a stroke.
Thanks to the Butler County Chapter of Twilight Wish and a donation from the Pirates, Selfridge and 15 family members will be able to enjoy Saturday’s game against the Mets from PNC Park box seats with complimentary refreshments.
Selfridge was a pitcher and infielder in his younger years and also coached baseball.
