Local residents are invited to enjoy a fireworks display before Independence Day as part of an upcoming free event.
Butler Township is teaming up with Butler County for Community Day at Alameda Park on Wednesday beginning at 5 p.m.
In addition to live music and food trucks, this free event will also include face painting, a bounce obstacle course, animal shows, a Hawaiian show, and lumberjax axe throwing for ages 13 and older.
The fireworks display will start after dusk, around 10 p.m.
