The Pittsburgh Penguins completed the 2025 NHL draft Saturday. Their 13 picks over the two days was the most since 1994. General manager Kyle Dubas also made three trades during the draft. Their first pick at #11 was center Benjamin Kindel from Calgary of the World Hockey League.
Dubas traded the #12 pick to Philadelphia, and picked up two other first-round selections. With those picks, they selected right winger Bill Zonnon out of a Quebec Junior League at #22, and two first-round picks later took center William Horcoff out of the University of Michigan.
