A couple of local buildings home to former Butler businesses will be available for public bid starting next week.
A sheriff’s sale next Friday (7/18) will include the former Miller’s Quality Meats at 142 North Main Street as well as an accessory commercial building at 111 West North Street.
A fire caused significant damage to the business in January of 2024. The opening bid for the North Main property is just over $92,000 while bidding on the West North property will begin at nearly $33,000.
A sale planned for September 19th will include the South Main Street property formerly housing Butler Brew Works which made a social media post in April that the business would be closed “until further notice.”
The auctions will be conducted online only and participants must register and pay a fee.
