Connoquenessing Township Supervisors have approved a Sewage Facilities Plan.
Despite objections coming from numerous community members, supervisors approved the motion by a vote of 2-1 during a meeting Wednesday night.
The township would have faced fines from the DEP if they had not acted in creating a new sewage and water plan. The plan now needs approval from the DEP.
No timeline has been officially announced on work would begin.
