The NHL schedule will be released for the 2025-26 season today. The NHL released information for their opening night which will feature two games, including the Pittsburgh Penguins. The Chicago Blackhawks will visit the reigning two-time Stanley Cup champion Florida Panthers in the season-opener on Tuesday, October 7th at 5pm. At 8pm, the Penguins will be at Madison Square Garden to face-off with the New York Rangers, who are now led by former Penguins head coach Mike Sullivan.
