A local state representative is offering more insight as to why she voted against the state budget.
Republican State Representative Marci Mustello of Butler voted “no” on the $50.6 billion budget that passed the house earlier this week.
Mustello says the budget “bluntly pushes through an expansion of government without any concern for future sustainability.”
She was also critical of the process on how the bill was voted on, adding that the bill passed before lawmakers could thoroughly review it.
The budget is now in the Senate for review.
