A bridge project near Kittanning is being extended by another week.
PennDOT officials say the Briar Hill Bridge on Freeport Road in East Franklin Township was set to reopen yesterday, but they now need to complete additional repairs.
The bridge is now expected to reopen next Friday.
All the detours will remain in place.
