A man who attacked two men, including a man with autism, in the city of Butler has pled guilty to the attack.
In September of last year, police were called to the 200 block of West Cunningham street for an assault. One of the victims was a 60-year-old man with autism.
Police say 21-year-old Brandon Caruso of Evan City and Zhamare Wyche of Butler attacked the two men. When police arrested Wyche, he allegedly implicated Caruso.
Caruso last week pled guilty to criminal attempt, conspiracy, and two counts of simple assault. For the plea, he will serve six to 23 months in prison but was paroled at sentencing with time served, complete 25 hours of community service, and pay $2,127 in fees and restitution.
Wyche has not agreed to a plea agreement and is awaiting a trial for his case.
