A Philadelphia man accused of killing a Muddy Creek Township man has been denied bail as he awaits his trial.
26-year-old Paris Carter of Philadelphia is accused of killing David Hines of New Castle and leaving him on the side of the road in Portersville after the two got into an argument in May 2021.
Attorney’s for Carter argued that delays in his trial should have allowed to be released on bail. But earlier this week judge Timothy McCune denied that motion.
Carter’s trial was set to begin in January of this year but appeals delayed the start. A new trial date has not been set.
