Two local students are the latest to receive a scholarship from Grove City College that is intended for Butler County residents.
Joshua Tustin of Slippery Rock and Abigail Vance of Butler were both named as this year’s recipients of the Ronald and Joyce Brandon Academic Scholarship.
The $9,100 annual award is designated to only Butler County students who attend Grove City.
The Brandon family sponsors the annual scholarship intended for nursing students and other majors.
The scholarships are endowed by former Butler Radio owner Ron Brandon and his wife Joyce.
