A woman was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital after being thrown from a horse at the Butler Fairgrounds.
The accident happened yesterday just before 8 p.m. at the Fairgrounds when a 25-year-old woman was thrown from a horse and suffered a serious head injury.
Dispatchers say the woman was initially unresponsive for about two minutes.
She also suffered severe rib and neck injuries, and was disoriented.
The woman was flown to a Pittsburgh trauma center.
