A portion of Route 38 was shut down for a time yesterday.
The accident happened around 4 p.m. in the 1800 block of Oneida Valley Road. Dispatchers say a dump truck hit a pole and pulled down wires.
The accident blocked all of the road, leading crews to shut down a portion of Route 38.
The road reopened around 6:30 p.m. last night.
