Crews were called to a hit and run accident last night in Connoquenessing Township.
The crash happened around 10:45 p.m. on Evans City Road near Connoquenessing Elementary School.
Dispatchers say a pickup truck went off the road and went through a wooden fence into a tree.
But when crews got on scene, the driver was gone and left the vehicle.
The utility company was called for wires that were taken down.
