One of the co-conspirers in an attempted robbery and murder case has pled guilty and been sentenced.
Earlier this month 38-year-old Hassan Brack pled guilty and was sentenced in the death of 31-year-old Hakeem Morgan after alleged drug deal.
Last week 32-year-old Brook Smith of Butler pled guilty in the failed drug deal that led to the murder of Morgan. Charges of criminal homicide, criminal attempt, burglary, and conspiracy were dismissed.
Smith was sentenced to 30 to 120 months in prison and will be eligible for the state drug treatment program.
