A Cranberry man is in the Butler County Prison after he admitted to having a sexual relationship with a child.
Police in Cranberry received a report from Erie City Police last Wednesday for a child sexual assault.
During the investigation, police identified 33-year-old Cameron Villanti for allegedly sexually assaulting a 10-year-old. When interviewed by police Villanti admitted to the crime and also recording the act then sending it to the child.
Messages on Villanti’s phone show explicit messages and planning future assaults.
Villanti is facing several charges related to child sex abuse and has been placed in the Butler County Prison on $500,000 bond.
