The Transportation Safety Administration has announced that this past Labor Day weekend was one of the busiest ever.
10.4 million travelers were screened this past weekend for Labor Day travel according to TSA, a 3.3 percent increase from the same four-day period last year.
Friday was deemed the 15th busiest day in a single 24-hour period for TSA with nearly 3 million passengers.
The agency also believes it will break the all-time annual passenger volume record this year.
