Hispanic Heritage Month is underway and Slippery Rock University has many events planned to mark the occasion.
A Hispanic and Latino Cultures Meet and Greet will take place Tuesday from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. in the Smith Student Center.
SRU students and guests will be able to enjoy traditional cuisine, make piñatas, and ask questions about Hispanic and Latino cultures.
Other activities sponsored by SRU’s Office for Inclusive Excellence and the Student Organization for Latinos and Hispanics include a Hispanic Heritage Month Fiesta September 20th, musical recitals, a cooking workshop, and a Day of the Dead Showcase October 29th.
