Defendants in a lawsuit against Slippery Rock School District have filed a response and are asking for a dismissal of the case.
Attorneys for Dr. Alfonso Angelucci, Tamatha and Nick Neupauer, and Billie Douglas have replied to a lawsuit that accuses the parties involved of defamation. Attorneys have also filed a motion to have the civil case dismissed.
They argue that testimony given was under governmental immunity, they were acting within the duties of their job, and they truly believed that Dr. Kristie Shulsky, who filed the suit, was under the influence of alcohol.
No official ruling has been made on if the suit will be thrown out.
