Students at local high schools still have time to use problem-solving, creative, and strategic-thinking abilities to solve real-world problems.
Submissions for the ninth annual PennDOT Innovations Challenge has opened up.
This year students are asked on how to utilize artificial intelligence (AI) in work zones to improve safety for work crews and road users.
The plan must outline how PennDOT can use smarter systems to prevent accidents as well as protect those working.
Regional winners will be selected to go to Harrisburg and compete for the state championship. Those interested in more information about this contest should visit PennDOT’s website for more details.
The final day to submit a plan is January 30th.
