With spooky season just around the corner, anyone interested in learning more about Halloween is invited to the 3MJC meeting in Slippery Rock tonight.
The Moraine, McConnells Mill, and Jennings Commission will host former local history teacher Steve Cicero at their monthly meeting at the Jennings Environmental Education Center on Prospect Road.
Cicero will present a program about the origins of Halloween traditions including ancient religious beliefs and customs brought to America by Irish immigrants.
This meeting begins at 7 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
