Three state police troopers are dead and two more were injured following a shooting in York County yesterday.
The shooting happened at a farm not far from the Maryland state line.
Police were following up on a domestic-related investigation, when they were allegedly ambushed by a man wearing camouflage. The suspect was killed by police in the shooting.
Governor Josh Shapiro ordered all Commonwealth flags to half-staff in honor of the fallen officers.
Yesterday’s shooting was exactly 16 years after three Pittsburgh police officers were shot and killed in an ambush while responding to a domestic incident.
