Work on Route 528 in Connoquenessing Township is expected to be completed by the end of the month.
The resurfacing project is currently underway in between Harmony Road and Woodlands Road.
The cost is about $500,000, but PennDOT says 50 percent of the project is being helped through private investment. PennEnergy Resources, MarkWest Liberty Bluestone, and Vogel Disposal all contributed.
