It’s been an extraordinarily long stretch of dry weather for Butler County.
According to the National Weather Service, the area is four inches below the normal amount of rain since late July.
However, the abundance of rain earlier in the year means we’re less than a half-inch under the area’s yearly average.
The National Weather Service says there is a very slight chance of rain this weekend, with much of the region staying dry once again.
