Police have placed a Butler man in the Butler County Prison after it’s alleged he assaulted a partner.
Police were called to a home in the City of Butler on Monday for a domestic incident.
When police arrived on scene they found the victim, who was visibly bruised. According to police 20-year-old Jonathan Parker allegedly choked and assaulted the victim.
The victim also said she couldn’t breathe as Parker strangled her.
Parker has been charged with strangulation and simple assault and is being held on $25,000 bond as he awaits a preliminary hearing.
