An event at Butler County Community College to benefit athletic programs is considered a success after raising thousands for scholarships.
The third Pioneer Pursuit held last weekend collected nearly $11,000 and drew nearly 100 participants from around the region for a variety of activities including a 5K, one-mile walk, and kids 100-meter dash.
Many BC3 student athletes volunteered at this activity along with BC3 coaches and members of the BC3 alumni council.
