City residents and travelers will notice that the first part of work on city-owned parking lots has been completed.
Resurfacing work done at the North Main Street / Locust Street “Burger Hut” lot is now finished.
Since meters are being replaced with kiosks that have not yet been installed, the city will treat parking in that lot the same as parking on Main Street in that two hours are free and all passes will be honored.
Work continues on the North Street City Building lot through this week followed by the West Diamond lot from Monday through October 15th.
