Seneca Valley is getting ready for Homecoming festivities later this week.
A Homecoming Carnival will begin Thursday at 5 p.m. at the district’s secondary campus with food to purchase and games to play.
The Homecoming Parade then gets underway at 7 p.m. with the Raider Marching Band, local fire trucks, and floats created by student sports teams and organizations. A fireworks display is also planned.
New this year will be free shuttle service for those attending the carnival or parade from Steamfitters to the front of the Aquatic Center beginning at 5 p.m. until 8:15. All riders under 18 must be with an adult.
This year’s theme is “Under the Stars” with Homecoming King and Queen announced at Friday’s football game followed by the Homecoming Dance on Saturday.
