Seneca Valley School District has announced a man walking around the school campus has been identified, charged, and taken into custody.
On September 15th, a masked man was seen walking around the parking lot of the Haine Elementary/Middle School Parking lot. Cranberry Township Police were alerted of the suspicious man.
It was later reported the man had stopped at a local metal shop where he was seen with a mask and allegedly had a handgun in his possession.
Police identified the man as 21-year-old David Lisyuk of Aliquippa. He was taken into custody, but told police he did not realize he was on school property.
He has been charged with possession of a weapon on school property and a preliminary hearing has been scheduled for November 11.
