Cranberry Township is seeking ways to ensure fire department training will not interfere with the Township’s water supply.
On Thursday, the Board of Supervisors will consider a design contract for an isolation water tank at the Public Safety Training Facility.
An analysis and hydraulic modeling performed during fire training events showed that closing the valve could result in notable pressure spikes.
A company that already maintains the Township’s water model and knows the water system is expected to look at possible solutions before making a recommendation to the Board.
