Butler County Community College will be honoring two alumni this weekend at their annual Oak Hills Celebration.
Rick Barger and Tom McConnell were named as this year’s distinguished alumni for BC3.
Barger was a 1969 graduate from BC3 with an associate’s in business administration. He would go on to become a partner at a Harrisburg accounting firm.
McConnell was a basketball player for the Pioneers in the early 1980s. He would go on to successful coaching career in college basketball, including leading IUP’s women’s basketball program.
Both will be honored at the Oak Hills Celebration this Saturday afternoon at BC3’s main campus.
