A local township is alerting residents of a scam email going around that falsely says it is coming from township officials.
Adams Township is alerting residents not to open a suspicious email coming from Terresa Turner or Mike Tylka.
The IT department is aware of the issue and are working to handle the problem.
The email will ask you to clink on a link to “Read the message” but do not click on this link or download the attachment.,
If you have received this email you’re asked to delete the email and you can call the township to let them know you have received it.
