Governor Josh Shapiro has signed an executive order to protect access to vaccines.
The executive order will create a state-based safety net to protect children vaccines and require state agencies to align with trusted medical experts.
It will also launch a central online vaccine portal and ensure coverage of recommended vaccines through Medicaid and private insurance.
This executive order comes after questions are being raised of the Trump administration’s handling of new federal vaccine guidelines.
