Traffic was slow moving this morning on I-79 after a cow was on the loose in southern Butler County.
The black cow was spotted in the grass median of I-79 in between the Evans City and Cranberry exits.
The loose cow led to slow downs in both the north and southbound lanes.
State police and PennDOT were on scene to assist with traffic.
It’s not known how the cow got loose.
