Those interested in viewing the natural beauty of the McConnells Mill area are welcome to join a hike coming up this weekend.
A guided Slippery Rock Gorge Trail Hike will begin at 8:30 a.m. Sunday and continue until about 1 p.m.
12 participants will meet at the Hells Hollow Parking Lot for a six-and-a-half-mile difficult hike as part of North Country National Scenic Trail Day.
Those planning to attend are asked to register through the DCNR Calander of Events website. Participants should bring their own lunch, waters and snacks.
