Work on the new Butler Senior Center is ongoing, despite a number of added projects along the way.
County commissioners approved $190,000 in additional work to help stabilize a wall and for parking lot repairs.
Commissioners say the project may be facing a slight delay, but overall the work continues to progress and they are optimistic about the status of the project.
The new Senior Center will be inside the former Butler Health and Fitness building on North Duffy Road. It will also house the Area Agency on Aging and Veteran Services.
