Slippery Rock University is celebrating LGBT History Month with numerous events and activities over the next several weeks.
The goal of LGBT History Month is to celebrate the contributions of those who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender to the larger community.
Those of all backgrounds and identities are invited to participate in activities such as a program called “Think, Talk, Transform: Fostering Belonging for LGBTQIA+ Students” on Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Smith Student Center and a Zoom presentation titled “Power of Story Series: The Joy of Considering What Can Be” on October 21st.
