BC3 Honoring Breast Cancer Awareness Month With “Project Pink”

With October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, students at Butler County Community College are fundraising once again to provide research.

BC3’s Project Pink campaign benefits the Glimmer of Hope Foundation, which is a breast cancer awareness charity in Wexford as well as a Project Pink for Hope Scholarship.

The Social Awareness Club is seeking gift card contributions by tomorrow (Wednesday). Members will then sell raffle tickets for the gift cards on October 29^th from a tent on the Main Campus as well as in the college bookstore October 30^th and 31^st. The bookstore is also selling Project Pink shirts for $18 that will contribute $5 to the cause.

The BC3 community has collected about $24,000 in breast cancer research funds over the last 15 years.
