A local institution was recently named to Princeton Review’s “Best Mid-Atlantic Colleges” list.
Slippery Rock University received the honor this past week along with 97 other colleges named to this year’s regional list.
Colleges are not ranked but are rated in eight categories including academics using data from surveys of administrators.
According to Princeton Review editors, only about a quarter of the nation’s four-year colleges earn the distinction of regional best.
