Cranberry Township has been recognized for responsible financial management by Moody’s Ratings.
The Township earned a Aaa rating, and thanks to this new rating the township will save $1 million over the next decade on a bond from 2015.
Cranberry Township is the one of 14 municipalities in Pennsylvania to receive this distinction and the only one in Western PA.
In statement Chairman of the Board of Supervisors Bruce Hezlep said this rating “continues our predecessor’s tradition of smart, careful planning and executing a well-crafted vision to position Cranberry Township as a leader in the region, state, and beyond.”
