Butler City Council continues to invest in improvements at Historic Pullman Park.
Council accepted a bid from Keystone Sports Construction in the amount of nearly $88,000 for the excavation and installation of warning track material at Historic Pullman Park.
This is the same company working to replace the turf infield who recently discovered damaged warning track material under old turf along the first and third base lines that must be replaced.
This project is taking place in cooperation with facility managers at the Butler Area School District. Work previously approved to repair the roof of that facility and install new seats is still ongoing.
This project was undertaken using funds from the sale of BASA assets.
