Students at a local school district are again observing Red Ribbon Week with a variety of theme days.
Red Ribbon Week begins Monday and runs through Friday in the Mars Area School District.
Students at Mars Area schools will be wearing workout or sweat clothes tomorrow with the theme of “Staying Drug Free is No Sweat”.
Other theme days include wearing sports team jerseys on Tuesday, crazy socks or Be The Kind Kid clothing Wednesday, neon or bright colors on Thursday, and Halloween colors on Friday.
Red Ribbon Week is an annual drug and alcohol prevention awareness campaign sponsored by the National Family Partnership.
