The new Dollar General on Main Street is now open.
The new store is located in the former Rite Aid in downtown Butler.
This Dollar General is known as a “DG Fresh Market” since it offers fresh fruits, vegetables, and other food options.
“I’m pleased to welcome DG Market to Main Street in Butler. It’s been a pleasure working with the DG team,” Butler Mayor Bob Dandoy said in a statement. “This new addition brings fresh, healthy food options, convenient shopping, and jobs right to the heart of our community. It’s another positive step in keeping Main Street vibrant and growing.”
A ribbon cutting ceremony and grand opening celebration will be held this Saturday at 8 a.m. with special offers for customers.
