The former chief of the Callery Volunteer Fire Department has died.
William “Snaz” McCandless passed away at his home this weekend.
In addition to his role as fire chief, McCandless also served as the mayor of Callery.
He was also an Army veteran that served in Korea.
McCandless was 88.
