After the first blast of winter, PennDOT officials say they are ready for the upcoming season.
PennDOT officials say they have nearly 4,700 on-the-road workers, along with 600 equipment operators and safety personnel for the winter weather.
The department has also budgeted over $207 million for winter operations. That includes more than 512,000 tons of salt.
They are still seeking part-time equipment operators for the winter. If you’re interested, you can learn more on PennDOT’s website.
