A Butler woman is in the Butler County Prison after she allegedly brought an illegal firearm into Butler Memorial Hospital.
Police were called to the 300 block of North Washington Street last Wednesday in the City of Butler for an overdose. When officers arrived the woman who allegedly had overdosed was walking and yelling.
Officers then called an ambulance to take 19-year-old Alayna Wolfe to the hospital. Officers would later receive a call that Wolfe was found to have a gun with a damaged serial number on her at the hospital.
Once released from the hospital, Wolfe was placed into custody and charged with receiving stolen property and firearms not to be carried without a license.
She’s being held in the Butler County Prison on $100,000 bail as she awaits a preliminary hearing.
